Entry Column
An umbrella stand reconsidered as a spatial object for the moment of arrival.
In rainy cities, umbrella storage is often treated as a purely functional afterthought.
A considered arrival
Umbrella storage, a water tray and planted space are arranged within one vertical form. The concept treats an everyday utility as a composed element of the entrance.
The internal arrangement
The drawing maps the proposed chambers and proportions, connecting the external silhouette to the functions held within it.
Close attention
A close visualization studies the lower chamber, curved surfaces and base. The project remains an unreleased studio concept.
Current state
A studio-led concept, not a commissioned or manufactured product. Further material studies and prototyping remain part of its development.
