Brief

CXRE Labs collaborated with the African United Baptist Association (AUBA) to create an immersive experience commemorating the legacy of the No. 2 Construction Battalion, Canada’s first and only all-Black battalion during World War I. The project aimed to honor the bravery, resilience, and contributions of these soldiers while educating and engaging the public. By combining storytelling, historical visuals, and interactive design, the experience brought the battalion’s history to life in a way that was both impactful and educational.

The immersive experience provided a powerful tribute to the No. 2 Construction Battalion, blending historical accuracy with innovative design. It successfully engaged the community, sparking meaningful conversations about Black history and resilience. The project elevated AUBA’s mission of preserving and sharing cultural heritage while demonstrating CXRE Labs’ expertise in crafting impactful, history-driven immersive designs.
